Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Franklin Regional topped by Greater Latrobe

The Greater Latrobe Wildcats basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Franklin Regional Panthers to 53 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Penn-Trafford for a WPIAL 5A 3 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Greater Latrobe will battle a Warriors team coming off a 60-58 league win over McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-15.
The Panthers (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators come into the WPIAL 5A 3 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Gateway prevailed over Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA), 66-53, in a league contest.
