Kentucky High School Basketball - Meade County overwhelms Hancock County

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) and the visiting Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY), saw Meade County's basketball squad wallop Hancock County by a tally of 78-54.

With the victory, Meade County improves its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Green Waves host Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY) to play the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 8-10.

Next up, the Hornets play the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Hancock County will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record.
