The Signal Mountain Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Hixson Wildcats to 21 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sequatchie County for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Signal Mountain will battle a Indians team coming off a 58-39 league loss to Monterey (Monterey, TN). The Indians record now stands at 4-20.

The Wildcats (0-22) will now prepare for their contest against Brainerd (Chattanooga, TN). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Brainerd was routed by Tyner Academy (Chattanooga, TN), 65-57, in a league contest.
