The Hoover Cardinals basketball team (San Diego, CA), was overwhelmed 97-57 in Friday's league battle with the visiting St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA)
The Saints now possess a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cathedral Catholic for a Western battle on Tuesday, February 7. St. Augustine will battle a Dons team coming off a 70-53 league win over Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Dons record now stands at 14-12.
The Cardinals (12-13) will now prepare for their battle against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 16-10 record. In their last battle, Otay Ranch trounced Olympian (Chula Vista, CA), 69-51, in a league battle.
