Colorado High School Basketball - Ignacio knocked off by Pagosa Springs

The Pagosa Springs Pirates basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Ignacio Bobcats to 37 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alamosa for a 4A/3A Intermountain bout on Saturday, February 4. Pagosa Springs will play a Mean Moose squad coming off a 51-44 league win over Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Mean Moose record now stands at 15-1.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a 4A/3A Intermountain bout, on Saturday, February 4. Ignacio will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 55-38 league loss to Centauri (La Jara, CO).
