Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), 62-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lake Forest upgrades its record to 15-10 on the campaign. The Scouts host Niles North (Skokie, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 22-5. Niles North won 93-55 in their recent league bout against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL)

Next up, the Bears play the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Lake Zurich will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 14-13 record after their 57-52 league win over Maine East (Park Ridge, IL).
