In Friday's league outing, the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) basketball squad edged the host West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC), by a margin of 59-58.

The Redhawks (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, Weddington was tipped by Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC), 59-57, in a league outing.
