The Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) basketball nipped the visiting West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA), 50-47 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA). The Comets go into the Siouxland test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Boyden-Hull got by Okoboji (Milford, IA), 56-49, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Sibley-Ocheyedan for a Siouxland test on Tuesday, February 7. West Lyon will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 86-26 league loss to Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Generals record now stands at 5-16.
