Washington Waldorf (Bethesda, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers (Washington, DC), 26-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Washington Waldorf upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The travel to Washington International (Washington, DC) to clash with the Red Devils in a Potomac Valley bout on Saturday, February 4. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Washington International won 38-36 in their recent league bout against Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD) in a Potomac Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 7. St. Anselm's Abbey will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record.
