North Carolina High School Basketball - Polk County crushes Chase

February 3, 2023: Columbus, NC 28722

Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 56-10 in a league bout.

With the win, Polk County upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Wolverines travel to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a 2A Conference 41 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 21-2. East Rutherford won 67-5 in their recent league bout against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Chase will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 63-29 league loss to Huss (Gastonia, NC).
