Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Starks Panthers (Starks, LA), 35-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Converse upgrades its record to 10-19 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stanley (Logansport, LA) to play the Panthers in a B District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Stanley lost 36-20 in their recent league bout against Negreet (Negreet, LA)
