In Friday's league match, the visiting Klondike Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 61-15 triumph over the Dawson Dragons.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 match, on Tuesday, February 7. Klondike will attempt to better on its 19-3 season record. The Longhorns enter the match with a 6-17 record after their 55-33 league loss to Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX).
With the defeat, Dawson moves to 3-8 on the year. The Dragons travel to Sands (Ackerly, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 1A Region I District 8 match on Tuesday, February 7. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 24-6. Sands won 55-33 in their recent league match against Grady (Lenorah, TX)
