The R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball knocked off the host East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), 47-39 in Friday's league test.
The Demons (16-6) will now prepare for their test against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans go into the 4A Conference 56 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, West Forsyth defeated Davie (Mocksville, NC), 39-29, in a league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Glenn for a 4A Conference 56 outing on Tuesday, February 7. East Forsyth will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 48-35 league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-18.
