With the victory, Golden Plains improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Northern Valley (Almena, KS) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Northern Valley won 42-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS)

Next up, the Coyotes confront the Bethune Bobcats (Bethune, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Weskan will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 50-19 non-league win over Weldon Valley (Weldona, CO).
