The Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL) basketball knocked off the host Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL), 42-34 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (21-8) will now prepare for their test against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 10-18 record. In their last test, Normal University went down by Springfield (Springfield, IL), 47-42, in a league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 21-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Taylorville will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 80-63 league win over Marion (Marion, IL). The Rams record now stands at 22-5.
