In Friday's league match, the host North Butler Bearcats basketball team scored a good 50-31 triumph over the Rockford Warriors.
In their next game, the Bearcats meet the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA) in a Corn Bowl match, on Monday, February 6. North Butler will attempt to move on its 5-15 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 4-14 record after their 65-28 league loss to West Fork (Sheffield, IA).
With the defeat, Rockford moves to 1-17 on the year. The Warriors travel to St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA) to meet the Saints in a Corn Bowl match on Tuesday, February 7.
