The Victory Christian Eagles basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Suffolk Christian Academy Knights to 7 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel Assembly Christian Academy for a North Carolina Christian - North contest on Tuesday, February 7. Victory Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-44 non-league loss to New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.

The Knights (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA). The Navigators enter the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Hampton Roads Academy triumphed over Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA), 51-12, in a league contest.
