Virginia High School Basketball - Albemarle can't hold off Western Albemarle

The Western Albemarle Warriors basketball team scored 22 points and held the visiting Albemarle Patriots to 20 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fluvanna County for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Western Albemarle will battle a Flying Flucos team coming off a 41-22 non-league win over Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 9-10.
The Patriots (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Louisa County was nudged by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 41-22, in a non-league contest.
