The Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), 63-27 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans (15-3) will now prepare for their test against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights go into the test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, North Davidson was trounced by Asheboro (Asheboro, NC), 54-50, in a non-league test.
The Timberwolves now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Grove for a test on Tuesday, February 7. Montgomery Central will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 69-40 league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 15-3.
