Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM), 53-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Santa Teresa upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Desert Warriors host Deming (Deming, NM) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Lobos clash with the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
