In Friday's league outing, the South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC), by a count of 49-21.
The Falcons (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 16-1 record. In their last challenge, Jacksonville bounced D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC), 60-40, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Rams play the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Havelock will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 70-62 non-league loss to New Bern (New Bern, NC).
