Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV), 56-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Pershing County upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV) to clash with the Longhorns in a bout on Thursday, February 9. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Battle Mountain lost 53-30 in their recent league bout against Incline (Incline Village, NV)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Incline Highlanders (Incline Village, NV) in a bout, on Friday, February 10. Yerington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
