Northwest Texans (Justin, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Azle Hornets (Azle, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Texans confront the Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 5 challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Northwest will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Saginaw (Saginaw, TX).

The Hornets now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saginaw for a 5A Region 1 District 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. Azle will confront a Rough Riders team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 0-10.
