In Saturday's league outing, the George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) basketball squad nipped the visiting Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME), by a margin of 58-51.
The Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Golden Bucks go into the non-league outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Bucksport got by Hermon (Hermon, ME), 37-36, in a league outing.
