Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) and the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR), saw Grant Union's basketball squad overcome Weston-McEwen by a tally of 88-72.

With the victory, Grant Union improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Prospectors travel to Irrigon (Irrigon, OR) to confront the Knights in a 2A Blue Mountain challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-18.

Next up, the TigerScots confront the Enterprise Outlaws (Enterprise, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain challenge, on Friday, February 9. Weston-McEwen will attempt to improve on its 10-14 season record.
