Texas High School Basketball - Summer Creek topped by King

The King Panthers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Summer Creek Bulldogs to 52 in the Panthers league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Brook for a 6A Region III District 21 contest on Wednesday, February 7. King will battle a Bruins team coming off a 84-50 league loss to Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX). The Bruins record now stands at 21-10.
The Bulldogs (16-14) will now prepare for their contest against Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 26-6 record. In their last contest, Atascocita prevailed over King (Houston, TX), 71-57, in a league contest.
