The Troup County Tigers basketball team (LaGrange, GA), was overwhelmed 77-50 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA)

The Grangers now possess a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverdale for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, February 6. LaGrange will confront a Raiders team coming off a 83-81 league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 11-11.

The Tigers (9-14) will now prepare for their battle against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Tigers come into the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Fayette County trounced Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA), 54-53, in a league battle.
