Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), 65-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Sumter County upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Panthers host Dodge County (Eastman, GA) to clash with the Indians in a AA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 18-3. Dodge County won 58-41 in their recent league bout against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA)

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) in a AA Region 1 bout, on Friday, February 9. Berrien will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record.
