In Saturday's league outing, the Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting East Grand Vikings (Dansforth, ME), by a margin of 42-24.

The Tigers (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland (Baileyville, ME). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Woodland was beaten by Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME), 78-31, in a league outing.

The Vikings now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Washburn for a D North outing on Monday, February 5. East Grand will clash with a Beavers squad coming off a 23-22 league win over Easton (Easton, ME). The Beavers record now stands at 7-9.
