In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), by a count of 76-35.
The Cougars (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grandview (Aurora, CO). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Grandview smashed Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO), 59-57, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Denver South for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5.
