The Bishop McGuinness Villains basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Piedmont Classical Bobcats to 45 in the Villains league triumph on Monday.

The Villains now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they host Bethany Community for a 1A Northwest Piedmont game on Tuesday, February 4. Bishop McGuinness will confront a Wolves team coming off a 72-39 league loss to Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 4-22.

With the loss, Piedmont Classical falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 1A Northwest Piedmont game on Tuesday, February 4. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 13-7. Carver won 82-53 in their recent league game against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC)
