The Cornerstone Christian School Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Heartland Christian to 31 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cougars now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Parkview Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Cornerstone Christian School will confront a Patriots team coming off a 57-56 non-league win over Brownell Talbot (Omaha, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Heartland Christian falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The host Essex (Essex, IA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 4-17.
