The La Feria Lions basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Valley View Tigers to 32 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now possess a 21-7 record. They play next when they travel to Port Isabel for a 4A Region IV District 32 game on Friday, February 7. La Feria will confront a Tarpons team coming off a 71-53 league win over Jubilee Brownsville (Brownsville, TX). The Tarpons record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Valley View falls to 5-17 on the campaign. The Tigers host Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 32 game on Friday, February 7. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 23-10. Hidalgo won 76-35 in their recent league game against Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX)
