The Jackson County Generals basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Clay County Tigers to 40 in the Generals league triumph on Monday.

The Generals now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to North Laurel for a District 49 game on Friday, February 7. Jackson County will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 40-36 non-league loss to South Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 19-2.

With the loss, Clay County falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Leslie County (Hyden, KY) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-12.
