With the victory, Mellen advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Granite Diggers host Lac Courte Oreilles (Hayward, WI) to meet the Eagles in a Northern Lights battle on Thursday, February 6. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 1-14.
The Northstars now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Solon Springs for a Northern Lights battle on Monday, February 10.
