Bronte lost 51-16 in their recent league challenge against Irion County (Mertzon, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Blackwell Hornets (Blackwell, TX) in a 1A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Water Valley will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 40-30 league loss to Sterling City (Sterling City, TX).
