Texas High School Basketball - Centennial knocked off by Independence

The Independence Knights basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Centennial Titans to 35 in the Knights league triumph on Saturday.
The Knights now sport a 19-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a 5A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Independence will meet a Redhawks team coming off a 56-54 league win over Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks record now stands at 22-6.
The Titans (16-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers enter the 5A Region II District 10 contest with a 8-18 record. In their last contest, Lebanon Trail was defeated by Memorial (Frisco, TX), 88-63, in a league contest.
