The Cherokee Indians basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Lohn Eagles to 6 in the Indians league triumph on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rochelle for a 1A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Cherokee will battle a Hornets team coming off a 65-16 league win over Lohn (Lohn, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-10.
The Eagles (1-18) will now prepare for their contest against Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX). The Mustangs enter the 1A Region III District 17 contest with a 10-12 record.
