Texas High School Basketball - Ennis ripped by Lancaster

The Lancaster Tigers basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Ennis Lions to 34 in the Tigers league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forney for a 5A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Lancaster will meet a Jackrabbits team coming off a 67-50 league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 25-3.

The Lions (11-19) will now prepare for their contest against Crandall (Crandall, TX). The Pirates enter the 5A Region II District 14 contest with a 17-14 record. In their last contest, Crandall was routed by Red Oak (Red Oak, TX), 54-41, in a league contest.
