In Saturday's league outing, the Worth County Rams (Sylvester, GA) basketball squad felled the host Cook Hornets (Adel, GA), by a margin of 63-47.
The Rams (9-13) will now prepare for their outing against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Purple Hurricane go into the AA Region 1 outing with a 13-9 record. In their last outing, Fitzgerald was beaten by Dodge County (Eastman, GA), 56-38, in a league outing.
The Hornets now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they travel to Jeff Davis for a AA Region 1 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Cook will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 54-33 non-league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-19.
