Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Duncan Wildkats (Duncan, AZ), 36-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Desert Christian upgrades its record to 19-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Salome (Salome, AZ) to play the Frogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Frogs come into the bout with a record of 17-8. Salome won 48-35 in their recent league bout against San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA)

Next up, the Wildkats play the Joseph City Wildcats (Joseph City, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Duncan will attempt to upgrade on its 13-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 25-7 record after their 37-33 league loss to Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ).
