In Saturday's league outing, the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), by a margin of 55-20.
The Panthers (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA). The Jaguars go into the AAAA Region 6 outing with a 10-11 record. In their last outing, Stephenson was trounced by Westminster (Atlanta, GA), 65-25, in a league outing.
The Pirates now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they host Hapeville Charter for a AAAA Region 6 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Stone Mountain will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 55-36 league win over Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 13-9.
