Georgia High School Basketball - Appling County sneaks past Berrien

The Appling County Pirates basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Berrien Rebels to 63 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now possess a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Crisp County for a AA Region 3 game on Friday, February 7. Appling County will play a Cougars team coming off a 48-45 league win over Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 19-5.
With the loss, Berrien falls to 7-17 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Worth County (Sylvester, GA) to play the Rams in a A D1 Region 1 game on Thursday, February 6. The Rams go into the game with a record of 12-10. Worth County won 60-53 in their recent league game against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)
