Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mayer Wildcats (Mayer, AZ), 52-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bagdad advances its record to 17-6 on the year.
The Wildcats now own a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joseph City for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Mayer will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 76-63 league win over Williams (Williams, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 21-6.
