The Bishop McNamara Mustangs basketball squad (Forestville, MD), was crushed 82-55 in Tuesday's league battle with the host St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC)
With the victory, St. John's advances its record to 17-8 on the year. The Cadets host Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 19-10. Fairfax Christian won 67-61 in their recent league battle against Prince George's Christian Academy Blue (Landover, MD)
The Mustangs now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's Ryken for a Washington Catholic battle on Saturday, February 8. Bishop McNamara will meet a Knights squad coming off a 76-33 league loss to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Knights record now stands at 5-20.
