The Volcano Vista Hawks basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Cibola Cougars to 35 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now have a 19-2 record. They play next when they host Piedra Vista for a 5A District 1 game on Thursday, February 6. Volcano Vista will confront a Panthers team coming off a 73-42 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, Cibola falls to 15-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to confront the Storm in a 5A District 1 game on Thursday, February 6. The Storm go into the game with a record of 15-6. Cleveland won 82-76 in their recent league game against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
