In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Circle Thunderbirds basketball team scored a big 70-43 win over the Clearwater Indians.
The Thunderbirds (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Buhler (Buhler, KS). The Crusaders come into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail III contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Buhler smashed El Dorado (El Dorado, KS), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians meet the Winfield Vikings (Winfield, KS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 7. Clearwater will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 6-7 record after their 69-60 non-league win over Labette County (Altamont, KS).
