The Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX) basketball were winner over the host North Hopkins Panthers (Sulphur Springs, TX), 54-45 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 9-23 record. They play next when they travel to Yantis for a 2A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, February 7. Como-Pickton will play a Owls team coming off a 71-39 league win over Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (Greenville, TX). The Owls record now stands at 22-11.
With the loss, North Hopkins falls to 16-14 on the campaign. The Panthers host Boles (Quinlan, TX) to play the Hornets in a 2A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, February 7. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 16-14.
