Tennessee High School Basketball - Unicoi County knocks off Elizabethton

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) and the visiting Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN), observed Unicoi County's basketball team overcome Elizabethton by a margin of 70-60.
The Blue Devils (16-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 22-11 record. In their last challenge, Tri-Cities Christian defeated Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC), 47-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Fighting Cyclones battle the Tennessee Vikings (Bristol, TN) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Elizabethton will attempt to better on its 16-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 21-5 record after their 85-57 league win over Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN).
