The Herscher Tigers nipped the visiting Reed-Custer Comets basketball squad by a final score of 44-39 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Tigers face the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 outing, on Friday, February 7. Herscher will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Coalers enter the outing with a 18-7 record after their 56-39 league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL).
